First-Time User Setup
1. Launch & Sign Up
Open Revit and click Settings or Download in the PiAxis ribbon. Click the Sign Up link at the bottom, which will open the web platform.
2. Create Account
On the web platform login page, select the Sign Up option again and create your new account.
3. Upload Project
Once logged in, upload your Revit project file (.rvt). Wait for the processing to complete.
4. Stage Details
Select the details you wish to use and click Stage for Download.
5. Download in Revit
Return to the Revit plugin and log in with the same credentials. Open the Download Manager, select your staged details, and click Download.
Existing User Workflow
1. Stage Details on Web
Go to the PiAxis Web Platform.
Select your desired details and click Stage for Download.
2. Download in Revit
Open the Revit plugin, ensure you are logged in, and click Download. Select your details and import them into your project.
Ribbon Buttons
Download
Opens the Download Manager to import staged details into your current Revit project.
Settings
Manage your PiAxis account — log in, log out, and view your authentication status.

Access contact information for support and assistance.
Troubleshooting
No details showing in Download Manager?
Make sure you’ve staged details from the web dashboard and you’re logged in with the same account.
Can’t log in?
Verify your email and password. If you don’t have an account, click Sign Up on the login page.
Download fails?
Check your internet connection and try again.
